Day 335 A female Downy Woodpecker.

A female Downy Woodpecker. My neighbor's bird feeders were swaying so I decided to check things out. There were 4 different species there as well as the neighborhood cats. The cats went away empty handed but not for a lack of trying. My neighbor raised the heights of the bird feeders. Day 335 (2010.12.01) #365Project @sharkbayte

Bossy Bear and Crocadoca were the early risers so they posed for the 10.10.10 shot. We had to be up and shooting at 6:10am for Universal time. Long day and my internet connection has a mind of it's own. I spend more time trying to post and stay connected than I do online. frustrating!!!

Day 263-Two shots today

My funny face...Jasper cracks me up with his daily antics and expressions.

This is a Turkey Vulture, Cathartes aura. They have a wind span of 67-72 inches! I almost always find him on this pole watching everything. I couldn't get a shot of him without the wires. I really need to get a longer lens, as I can't get much closer to him with my lens. #365Project day 263. (2010.09.20) @sharkbayte

day 218-over shooting the feeder.

I was across the street trying to focus on the cardinal, when this little guy came into view and stole the scene for me. I wish I had my 100.0mm lens as this lens I was using I cannot get the shots tack sharp. (2010.08.06) #365Project @sharkbayte

78/365 #365 Project -A-well-a bird, bird, bird, the bird is the word...

The other bird was neat too, just not sure what species either bird it. And of course I had to shot the moon tonight.

Day 32-Project 365 (032/365) Sneaking up on him. I had to shoot through the vertical blinds on the door to get him.

I only got a few shots today, as he spotted me and I guess he heard Jasper barking. (I believe the barking alerted him enough to turn around and see me). I wish I could get outside to shoot these guys, but my wheelchair is allergic to ice. I cannot risk going off the patio with the chair like I did the other day on the side walk. so for now these are about the best I can do.
