#365 Project Day 120-The Run for the Roses is tomorrow! (Kentucky Derby)

(30.04.2010) One day I will attend that race! Tonight there are two pictures as I cannot choose which one is better. And seeing that the Derby is tomorrow an extra rose won't spoil it. Is the song "Run For The Roses" stuck in anyone's head?

03.05.2010 #365 Project Day 64 - Jun does a happy dance from her find. While out in the forest, Jun finds a huge carrot!

Day 57 #365 Project- 13 day old moon with 94% visibilty.

Well today Kuro (both) have to figure out a name for the second cat, arrived. I am waiting on the last cat to arrive and the set is complete. Dan Board or Danboa I am still not sure if I am going to get the second piece and finish that set. The moon was calling me tonight. I am not too thrilled with the shot I am hoping tomorrow and Sat/Sun (actual full moon is on Sun at 11:38am) I come back with a shot I like. So for my 365 Project I am using the moon shot.

02.24.2010 (55/365) 365 Project - It's MINE!

Jasper was playing tug-of-war, when I sort of sneaked up on him. But he caught me. (darn wheelchair makes a noise, very slight click, but it let's you know you've engaged the motor). Jasper loves playing...ALL DAY! he even brings his toys to bed at night! I have to laugh at some of the things I see he has brought to sleep with...

#356 Project Day 54 - The gang goes out for Karacroakie Tuesday!

Another night indoors for my dailies. One my back is out and secondly its very cloudy. We are supposed to get snow mixed with rain. So much for the temps being in the 60s the other day. (it might have made the 50s today but didn't feel like it to me). So next few nights I probably will be shooting inside with the gang!

02.23.2010 #365 Project Day 53- Holy crap Batman it's Catzillia!!

It rained today and on and off tonight so no moon shots. I will have to pick that back up when the weather turns nice again. I borrowed this cat from a friend, she bought it for her dog (Pearlie Mae) that I have featured here before. The cat walks and makes sounds. Pearlie is not crazy about it yet, and Jasper just barked at it. And I finally got something to use for a background finally! It's bigger than the folders I have been using and it stays up longer than the folders do too!

#365 Project Day 52- First Quarter Moon 8 days old.

I am hoping that the weather stays this nice or at gets even warmer! It wasn't too bad outside tonight. At 7:42 pm. the moon was at its first quarter. Tomorrow according to the moon phases chart 57% will be visible. I think tonight's visibility was at least 50% if not a tad more. I also saw my first insect tonight which was a moth. I swear the rest of the insect world traveled south to stay warm.

Day 51 #365 Project-7 day old moon 36% visible tonight.

tonight I did the black and white convert and then sharpened a bit, after I cropped. I am hoping I can get the moon tomorrow as well. The weather isn't that bad the past few days, could be a bit warmer than what it has been though.

365 Project (50/365) 6 day old Crescent Moon 27% visible tonight.

I believe I am going to make a poster out of the moon pictures I am taking. I want to capture all the different phases of the moon. Tonight I converted to black and white, as I see a lot of moon photos in black and white.

365 Project Day 49-Crescent Moon 5 days old, 18% visible.

I had hoped to get outside last night as I wanted to catch the crescent moon earlier, but it was too cold for me. So I will just start documenting what days I get and hopefully I will catch enough to make a calendar or poster of the different phases. Tonight's moon is 5 days old with 18% visible.

365 Project (044/365) Tonight's dinner is served!

Wow, what a dinner tonight and my favorite dessert (fruit)! Well, by the time I got up today the snow was just about gone! didn't last long. My mother said that she heard we were getting more snow today. I said well, not around here as it was very sunny and pleasant. Not as cold but still cold. If it does snow that would be a surprise, only because it was too nice today.

365 Project (043/365) Day 43 Music soothes the savage beast!

I can't imagine a day without music. I didn't get to shoot outside today, as it was another busy day. I am hoping tomorrow to get outside. We are supposed to get snow again. I just hope I can make it further than the ditch like the last snow storm a few weeks ago...stay tuned! The Winter Olympics have started so that is what I am going to be watching for a few weeks. I just wish they would show the Paralympics. I usually have to watch it online. Talk about incredible athletes! Good Luck to all who are participating!

02/11/2010 Day 42-Oops lost my head. 365 Project

Some days I feel like I've lost my head. I was so busy today I didn't get out to take any shots so I had to use Dan Board (he has become one of my favorite characters to hang out on my desk). So he was an easy shoot. As I didn't get to shoot until 30 minutes ago. Hopefully tomorrow I will get out to shoot.

Day 41 - Roses, smoses, I wanted a rhinoceroses...(ok so I can't rhyme) 365 Project 10-02-2010

I was trying to play around with some different filters and settings. Didn't use a flash, but wanted to just try something different.

I was taking photos and really wanted a shot of Jasper with his new "baby". But no matter what Jasper was running around or going nutz with his new baby. So I never got a shot of the two of them. This shot was when Iwas playing around with the camera settings. just thought it was a cute shot of him. he stood still for about 3 nanosecons!
Well Dan Board seems to be wondering if this is a tool or a weapon to use on Jun rabbit.. I hoping to use more of the anime characters for the daily photos. I only tweaked color and contrast and not by much. I haven't used any photography editors on my photos but I think I should use it to tweak them more.

Day 39-Jun gets into recycling...365 Project 2010/02/08

Both Jun (o48) and Dan Board arrived today. The batteries in Dan Board don't work, as his eyes would light up. So I have to get a set of batteries for that. Jun came with a lot of accessories for the white cat, and I have the black cats accessories they came with Pierre. So now I am not sure if I am going to complete the set with both the white and black cats and then get the girl to complete Dan Board. I sort of like Dan Board by himself.
