Day 335 A female Downy Woodpecker.

A female Downy Woodpecker. My neighbor's bird feeders were swaying so I decided to check things out. There were 4 different species there as well as the neighborhood cats. The cats went away empty handed but not for a lack of trying. My neighbor raised the heights of the bird feeders. Day 335 (2010.12.01) #365Project @sharkbayte

Day 32-Project 365 (032/365) Sneaking up on him. I had to shoot through the vertical blinds on the door to get him.

I only got a few shots today, as he spotted me and I guess he heard Jasper barking. (I believe the barking alerted him enough to turn around and see me). I wish I could get outside to shoot these guys, but my wheelchair is allergic to ice. I cannot risk going off the patio with the chair like I did the other day on the side walk. so for now these are about the best I can do.
