A Sundog

April 15, 2011- A sundog, or rainbow halo around the sun. This is SOOC. I had other shots that if I  tweaked anything the sky was an unnatural looking blue. (DAY 105:365 @sharkbayte)

11 March 2011

After the storms cleared out.

March 11, 2011-After the storms cleared out the sky started to brighten a bit, I grabbed my camera and went outside to capture what I could. This area filled with trees was the only part with the colors. (Day 70 #365Project @sharkbayte)

Day 287-The Clearing

It poured most of the day. Everytime I wanted to go outside to take pictures, it started to rain. I finally caught a break for a few minutes. Day 287:365 (2010.10.14) @sharkbayte

Day 193- as the sunset was approaching.

Day 180-2 pics day.

The top shot is of the sky tonight close to 9pm and the bottom is what the sky looked like around 6pm. Thought it would have brought a good storm to the area but we didn't get anything. Areas surrounding us did however. We really need a good soaking as the ground is so dry its cracking in areas. We are expected to get a cooling wave which will bring the temps down to high 80's and lower humidity. I hope so. My camera doesn't seem to like high temps or high humidity. Just wondering if anyone else has that problem in the heat? I get a lot of noise on my pictures. Hope everyone had a great night!

Day 163- Storms are a brewing.

Earlier today it was very sunny and oppressive humidity levels. #365Project (2010.06.12) Hey this is the south. So, I figured I would wait for the sun to go down some or at least the humidity/temps before I went outside to take pictures today, but mother nature had other plans. Winds were wicked, we got some rain and more storms coming overnight. Setting: 100.0mm f/16.0 1/250s ISO: 200 @sharkbayte

Day 156-When the sky does this, I can't resist.

Nature has so much beauty in it. #365Project (2010.06.05) 100.0mm 1/320s f/4.0 ISO: 100 @sharkbayte sky #1 (top pic)

The only adjustments I do to these is possibly a crop off a side of a tree or light pole. And most I used the auto contrast tweak. Nothing else done for pp.

Day 155- More clouds today.

It was very humid and hot, too hot to be outside for any period. The air quality probably wasn't that great either but I shot a bunch of different clouds as each one told a different story. #365 settings 100.0mm 1/5000s f/7.1 ISO: 100 @sharkbayte

More clouds are at flickr or smugmug

Day 152- Sky before the thunder...

and of course more rain. #365Project: I had to crop out some pine branches, used auto contrast and color, but it looks grainy to me. (2010.06.01) settings: 110.mm 1/320s fl11.0 ISO: 320 @sharkbayte

#365Project Day 126/365 sometimes the best shows are the free ones mother nature puts on.

(1/1600s Focal Length:100.0mm f/3.5 ISO:200) I took a bunch of shots tonight as the sky was very colorful, so after I was done and the sky went dark, only then did I realize I was on the wrong setting....Anyways I only liked about 8 shots which are on either my smugmug site or flickr. (2010.05.06)

Day 51 #365 Project-7 day old moon 36% visible tonight.

tonight I did the black and white convert and then sharpened a bit, after I cropped. I am hoping I can get the moon tomorrow as well. The weather isn't that bad the past few days, could be a bit warmer than what it has been though.

Day 28 - 365 Project (028/365) the day is looking up!

Even though my ipod seemed to die on me. Somedays it seems I cannot touch electronics. I seem to short circuit them or zap them out. I don't wear watches because of that. So today it was my ipod, then my computer and my TV. The computer and TV are now working but the ipod won't reset....I have to call Apple and see what they say I should do.

Day 23 (023/365) Project 365 SunDog

I found this sundog today while out and about through the neighborhood. It was such a nice day, could have been a tad warmer but I had fun...I needed to get outside again. I think I took over 250 photos of whatevers!

Day 19 365 Project (019/365) Just a nice day to be outside

I liked how the sky looked and watched as the clouds, were putting on their show. It, reminded me of my childhood, lying on my back on the grass watching the sky and looking at the clouds as they moved by changing shapes, sizes. Simple things.

I was hoping for a more colorful sunset and clouds, but it looks as if the weather report might be true, snow tonight?!! yeah!!! I want to do doughnuts in the parking lot in my wheelchair, just to test the tires and the chair's reactions to snow and ice!!! crazy but hey I can't drive any more and my Jeeps' all were put through the paces...
